$70 per hour for custom milling involving special thickness, multiple various widths, cuts, etc

Cypress milling is typically at least $1 extra per board foot or by the hour – to be determined.

Large white oak, or other oversized lumber – by the hour – to be quoted.

$70 per hour to mill lumber brought in.

Price must be quoted for custom made S4S out of our stock if we must select for color, knots, specified widths, etc.

Add 25% to board foot price if customer hand selects the best boards out of
1 common grade or hand selects mostly the widest boards out of select and better grade.

-Unless specified otherwise all wood is:

-Kiln Dried to approx 6% to 8% moisture content

-Rough or skim planed to 1/16" under dimension (ie. 1" stock is 15/16")

-Any mixed species, grade, or thickness can be combined to determine the lowest price category.

-School Grade = 50% common and 50% Select and better

-All prices are per board footnet tally which means there is no deduction for kiln shrinkage. If you buy 100' you get charged for 100', not to be confused with gross tally which means if you buy 100' you only get 92'. 

*Board Feet = board width in inches x board length in feet x thickness of board before planing in inches divided by 12. example: board 7" wide x 9 feet long x 1-1/4" thick before planing: 7 x 9 x 1.25 / 12 = 6.56 board feet
